According to Phil Schaap (Bird Flight, WKCR) the June 30 date comes from the Bill Hirsch, who claimed that the recording took place a week before Navarro died.

Charlie ParkerÕs presence here. He supposed to be heard in a flurry on Deception, but it could just as well be Brew Moore in a high register outburst
